PhotoLab 3: Between Friends

The third exhibition at PhotoLab, the Canadian Photography Institute’s experimental space, features the work of young Canadian photographer Andreas Rutkauskas. For several years he has travelled, often on foot with camera in hand, along the border separating Canada and the United States. Given carte blanche for this exhibition, Rutkauskas used the 1975 NFB book Between Friends/Entre amis as a starting point for his exploration of this frontier territory, over 8,891 km long.
