Loving Vincent

This feature-length film is the first of its kind. Using animated oil paintings, it explores the life and unusual death of Vincent Van Gogh through his own works of art.

In English with French subtitles.

5 pm: Enjoy a drink and a treat in the Water Court Foyer before the film. Gourmet Cuisine is offering cash bar service, and a tapas menu.

  • Pheasant galantine and caramelized onions with blueberry compote
    European sea bass with barley risotto
    Melon salad, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, kale and endive
    Served with a glass of wine and mini dessert

6:30 pm: Film screening in the Auditorium, followed by an onstage conversation with Val Fulford, Loving Vincent Painter. Discussion in English. French simultaneous interpretation is available, if a request is made to interp@gallery.ca before May 23, 2019.
