The internationally acclaimed Rousseau Quartet was formed in Gatineau in 2003, and performs both classical music and original arrangements of popular contemporary songs.
In addition to regular concerts across the National Capital Region, the Rousseau Quartet has been featured at festivals and concert series in Ontario and Quebec, including the Westben Festival near Toronto, the Mardis Classiques series in Gatineau, Montée des Arts du Mont-St-Hilaire, the Abitibi-Témiscamingue Classical Festival in Val d'Or, Music & Beyond in Ottawa, the Chamberfest City Series in Ottawa, and the Luminato Festival in Toronto.
