Join us for an exclusive screening of the award-winning CBC Arts documentary series In the Making featuring Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory, one of the artists included in Àbadakone | Continuous Fire | Feu continuel.

In attendance will be series creator and host Sean O’Neill, and artists Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory, Cris Derksen, Jamie Griffiths and Christine Tootoo.

An electrifying performer of Uaajeerneq (Greenlandic mask dancing), Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory is a theatre artist, performer, poet, curator and the artistic director of Qaggiavuut!, the performing arts society based in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The episode finds Laakkuluk in Iqaluit as she begins work on a powerful new collaboration with Derksen, Griffiths and Tootoo.

In the Making is an immersive journey inside the creative processes of Canada’s leading artists.
