Join us for a screening of the film Black Art: In the Absence of Light (2021). ​

Inspired by the work of the late artist and curator David Driskell, this illuminating documentary spotlights the indelible contributions of some of the foremost African American artists in today's contemporary art world, including Theaster Gates, Kerry James Marshall, Faith Ringgold, Amy Sherald, and many more.

Opening remarks in English with French simultaneous interpretation. Film screening in English, with French subtitles.

Rating: PG QC: 8+

Included with Free Thursday Nights ticketing. Onsite capacity will be limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Auditorium doors open at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the screening.
