Artwalk Ottawa
Kick off Artwalk Ottawa’s 2024 season with a fascinating conversation between Sobey Art Award finalist Nico Williams and prominent journalist Lucy van Oldenbarneveld.
The conversation takes place in the Gallery’s outdoor amphitheatre: the perfect setting in which to begin an afternoon discovering the ByWard Market’s rich and vibrant art scene.
Artwalk Ottawa involves the National Gallery of Canada, the Ottawa Art Gallery, and private art galleries in the ByWard Market area. During their tour of private galleries, participants will also meet some of the artists represented by the galleries. The walk ends with a reception at the Ottawa Art Gallery, where participants will be able to browse current exhibitions.
