National Outreach Program
Sharing our national collection across Canada is at the core of our mission. Our National Outreach Program enhances the visibility of the collection, disseminates art historical knowledge, and enthralls Canadian and visiting international audiences across the nation.

The Gallery has been organizing travelling exhibitions since 1919, and this practice continues to thrive today through a variety of exhibitions, loans, and unique collaborations with partnered Canadian museums.
Through innovative partnerships, the Gallery collaborates on original exhibitions held at the partnering institutions across Canada, with works of art drawn from the national collection. Canadians witness the splendor of the national collection, engage in accompanying educational programs, and develop a sense of pride in our shared cultural heritage.
