Michelle Koerner

Vice Chair, Board of Directors and Chair, Fundraising Committee

Michelle has had a long professional association with the arts in Toronto. Working in Marketing, she has held senior positions at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Toronto International Film Festival, Rogers Broadcasting, and TVOntario.  

With a strong interest in the integration of arts and education, Michelle has involved herself with organizations that combine the two. She is currently a director on the board of Canada’s National Ballet School; Fundraising Chair on the board of the Art Canada Institute; Chair of the Public Art Program for the Don Valley River Park; and founder and Chair of the Foundation of the Women’s Art Initiative. She was also on the Alumni Board of Havergal College and participated in the mentor program in the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Toronto.

Michelle has a BA from Victoria College at the University of Toronto. She is married and has three young children.
