John Mierins

As an Ottawa-based businessman, investor, developer, and president of several dealerships under the umbrella of the Carling Motors Automotive Group, John Mierins brings extensive business experience to the Board.

Mr. Mierins has been actively involved in his community as a member of the Finance Committee and the Board of Governors for Ashbury College, as well as a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. He is a supporter of Algonquin College and the Canadian Cancer Society, as well as of several arts organizations, including the National Arts Centre, 13 Strings, Ottawa Chamberfest, and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Mierins holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa and a graduate diploma in business studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
