Creative Thursdays - Martina Lantin: A Still-life in Three Dimensions

Martina Lantin: A Still-life in Three Dimensions
In this virtual Creative Thursdays, you will be introduced to working with clay, making small objects for an evocative still life. Techniques will include solid sculpting and hollow-form methods, along with tips for rendering textures and details. There will also be a discussion of how to finish the works with acrylic paint and mediums.

Creative Thursdays - Alex Antle: Appliqué Beaded Pin Workshop

Alex Antle: Appliqué Beaded Pin Workshop
In this workshop with artist Alex Antle, participants will learn a two-needle appliqué beading method as they create a floral pin. Each pin will be backed with leather and completed using a zipper edging technique.

Creative Thursdays - Golriz Rezvani: Mixed-Media Portrait Collage

Golriz Rezvani: Mixed-Media Portrait Collage
Inspired by works of art from the exhibition Uninvited: Canadian Women Artists in the Modern Moment, this online workshop features artist Golriz Rezvani, who will guide participants in the creation of a mixed-media portrait collage.
