Travel Trade
Welcome tourism professionals! In this section, you will find links and other material to assist you in planning a group visit to the National Gallery of Canada.
Your clients will travel through time and art in our galleries, which offer not only the world’s most comprehensive collection of Canadian art, but also art from many other cultures and peoples.
From ancient Indigenous and Classical art, through Old Masters and the Impressionists, to cutting-edge contemporary works, the Gallery not only explores the art, people and stories that have shaped this country, but also how Canada’s artistic traditions fit within the broader context of world art.
In addition, special exhibitions, presented in association with the world’s premier galleries and art experts, bring the best in international art to Canada’s capital. A visit to the Gallery is sure to be the highlight of any visit to the region for groups of students, adults, children, FITs and leisure travellers alike.
Seeing works by the Group of Seven and pieces by Van Gogh, Klimt, O’Keeffe and Picasso was surreal. […] The museum itself is also quite beautiful and serene. It’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon in Ottawa.
