The National Gallery of Canada is extremely pleased and proud to present an exhibition that brings together almost one hundred works from the vast body of highly original prints created by Betty Goodwin between 1969 and 1994. On display in the Prints, Drawings and Photographs Galleries, The Prints of Betty Goodwin will be featured at the National Gallery of Canada from 31 May to 2 September 2002. This medium and the prints she made between 1968 and 1975 brought Goodwin to prominence. Her innovative series of vests, shirts and gloves brought her into the ranks of the foremost artists and laid the foundation for ideas that led her to make the drawings and sculptures for which she is famous.
