Reva Brooks moved to Mexico with her husband Leonard in 1947. While Leonard painted, Reva began to photograph the life around her new home in San Miguel de Allende. Over the years Brooks has produced a significant body of work, displaying the enduring customs and traditions, the deep spiritual beliefs and the temperament of the Mexican peoples. This show gives Canadians a greater appreciation of Brooks's life work and her unfailing dedication to the expressive capacities of photography. Exhibition sponsored by the Friends of the Brooks, in support of The Leonard and Reva Brooks Foundation.
