Your Father Lies Lies Lies

2010
Category:
A consistent theme in Toonoo’s work relates to his concern with spirituality as opposed to religious doctrine, which he finds troublesome and is critical of. The artist explains: “As usual I was thinking about Satan and his influence on the world. The title refers to what I perceived to be the father of lies, after all he is the king of all liars, every evil thing begins with the father of lies!”
