Wind Blown Snow

1993
Hamish Fulton's walks upon the land are his works of art; what he shows in galleries - photographs, texts, drawings, rubbings - he sees as evidence of these art works. Each walk is a particular experience that can be described in simple terms of weather conditions, locations, dates, and duration. In "Wind Blown Snow", he has set the text against a ground of lightly brushed white gesso that recalls a snowstorm.
