In a 1986 interview published in Uqalurait, elder Cornelius Natarak explained: “Inuit would climb the cliffs to get eggs and akpait (murres). The eggs taste very good; they are good food. And murres taste good too; they make good meat …They taste good but it is dangerous. I too used to climb the cliffs.”
