An established graphic artist, Manumie has been revered as a Kinngait Studios printmaker for decades. Characteristic of his work are crisp lines and a subtle, even application of colour. Speaking about this work, the artist describes “an eye [that] watches over everyone in the world. At times when we’re alone, we get a feeling someone is watching over us. That’s what this eye is doing.”
