Panya Clark Espinal

Research and Discovery

1988
Panya Clark has made replicas, with infinite care and only as far as it was possible to do so, of cultural and natural artifacts as they were photographed for the pages of National Geographic. In doing so, she reflects her desire as an artist to behold the actual object, more powerful than any image.
