Myre’s multidisciplinary practice includes participant involvement as well as recurring themes of identity, language, longing and loss. These works depict a series of beadwork circles made by the artist that were scanned at high resolution and then printed. At a distance, they recall pools of water or evening skies; closer up, we encounter the materiality of the beads themselves. In their titles, Myre proposes various ways to approach or understand the images.
