Category:
Zacharias Panikpakuttuk shared his experience of camping inland in an interview, recorded in Uqalurait: “It was at this time (summer) the people started getting ready to go inland …to hunt caribou. This was the time when the mosquitoes had died off. They would have to get ready by making pack bags for the dogs, especially the people that had their previous year’s bags destroyed. For those who were careful they would still have their pack bags.”
