Special Examination Report (2019)
The Gallery reports one case of conflict of interest on October 28th, 2010 involving an employee who neglected to disclose his intent to run for office as a school trustee. The employee left the Gallery shortly thereafter. The Gallery requires all its employees to disclose any potential conflicts of interest but was unaware of this case until after the fact.

As a federal institution subject to the Access to Information and Privacy Acts, the National Gallery of Canada publishes an annual publication entitled Info Source: Sources of Federal Government and Employee Information.
Info Source contains a corporate profile and information collected by the Gallery. More specifically, it describes the functions, programs, activities and related information holdings that are subject to the Access to Information and Privacy Acts. It also provides the public, and current and former employees with relevant information to access personal information about themselves.
