Support the Canadian Pavillion

Join the Contemporary Art Circle of the National Gallery and help us bring Canadian contemporary art to the world stage.

There are several ways for individuals and corporations to support the Canada Pavilion. In order to secure Canada’s presence at the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale in 2011 and to stage Steven Shearer’s exhibition, the National Gallery of Canada and its partners are undertaking a major fundraising campaign.

By supporting the Canada Pavilion, you will become a standard bearer for Canadian arts and culture on the international stage. You will join the Canada Council for the Arts and other private philanthropists from across Canada and beyond in a unique initiative that will give this artist pride of place at the most prestigious contemporary art exhibition in the world.

The Contemporary Art Circle is a group of generous patrons from across Canada with a passion for contemporary art. Gifts made by its patrons will directly support Canada’s presence at the 2011 Venice Biennale. In appreciation of your contributions, you will receive a range of benefits and recognition, both in Canada and Venice.
