The Image Gallery is reserved exclusively for use by accredited journalists, and other media representatives recognized by the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.

Images in the gallery are to be used solely for editorial purposes linked directly to exhibitions presented at the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography. For all other uses, click here.

I understand that the images we will download must only be used to illustrate an article that is directly related to exhibitions presented by the national Gallery of Canada or the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, and that it is strictly forbidden to use them for commercial purposes.
I understand that the images we will download cannot, at any time, be modified in any way. I understand that a person found guilty of modifying an image without prior approval from the NGC or CMCP may be pursued legally.
I understand that the images we will download are for a one-time use only. I understand that a person found guilty of reproducing or sharing an image without prior approval from the NGC or CMCP may be pursued legally.
I understand that it is mandatory to publish the source and credits provided by the NGC or CMCP with the downloaded images.

Helpful Tip

If we approve your application to access the Image Gallery, we will send an email message to the email address you provide. This email message will include a link to the Image Gallery, along with a username and password. Use this username and password to log in to the Image Gallery.

If you have a specific request related to the Image Gallery, you can type it in the Comments box. For example, if you need an image in a specific size, you can specify the image and size requirement in the Comments box and this information will be forwarded with your request.
