Travel and Visits

This program focuses on the study of arts subjects and involves visits to arts locations, some within the National Capital Region and others more distant. Overnight and extended visits are arranged through a licensed experienced travel agent.

The volunteers involved in the Travel Committee of the Volunteers’ Circle of the National Gallery of Canada research, organize and lead trips for National Gallery Members, which include day excursions, as well as extended trips within North America, and overseas. These trips are planned around visits to major exhibitions, private galleries and collections, points of architectural and historical interest, theatrical and musical performances, and gardens, and always include meals at superior restaurants. We invite you to join us and enjoy the company of like-minded travellers, who share your interest in art and culture.
