Over 80 countries will showcase official entries this year.</p> <p> With the selection of Toronto artist <a href="http://www.gallery.ca/venice/20.htm">Shary Boyle</a>, Canada is sending one of its most acclaimed artists to represent the country on the world stage. One of the nation&rsquo;s most innovative artists, she works in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, installation and performance.
