Cai Guo-Qiang: Long Scroll (Shawinigan space)

10 Jun 2006 - 01 Oct 2006

An international exhibition of contemporary art that features three expansive installations as well as a large projection, multi-panel gunpowder drawings and other works. An exhibition that will blow you away! Cai-Guo-Qiang. Long Scroll celebrates movement, time and space. It presents cars tumbling between earth and sky, leaping tigers, videos, photos and drawings. The two stages of Inopportune, as well as a video installation entitled Illusion (2004), also on view at Shawinigan Space, were first presented at the MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) in 2004.
