 A French customs label is affixed to the statue.
 According to the Heim Gallery stock books the work was on commission at the Heim Gallery, London, from Artibus S.A., Geneva [Heim Gallery records, 1965–1991, Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles, USA, Commission book, 1966–1970, C-91004–202, ].
