By 1974, Goodwin's Note prints begin to take on the characteristics of her Tarpaulin series. Having reworked their surface with pencil, gesso, and paint, she folds and suspends the tarpaulins from frames with rope and wires. This Note print is a close paraphrase of the Tarpaulins.
