In "As It Appears", Roland Poulin works with complex, subtly angled forms, building an open structure that defines an empty space. At once sculptural and architectural, the piece invites us to consider it from several viewpoints, as its perspectives and the play of light and shadow on its surfaces change remarkably as we move around it.
