This carving shows a mother and her children. The children have caught some ptarmigan, and the family is going to eat them inside the igloo. - Lucy Tasseor Tutsweetok, 1991 One time a group of singers came to the community. My daughter was watching me while I was carving. She asked me if carving a sculpture was the same as singing. I replied, "Yes, it is." - Lucy Tasseor Tutsweetok, 1990
