Five years after designing and decorating his piano, Reid designed a cabinet for sheet music. The cabinet work was carried out by Edwin Challener, father of painter-decorator Fred Challener, and on the four sides, Reid painted landscapes evoking musical movements : ADAGIO, ANDANTE, LARGO and ALLEGRO.
