The title “transformation” evokes images of shamanism and shape shifting, but the forms themselves are abstracted, challenging viewers to draw their own conclusions. Bird shapes are the only recognizable forms amidst a mass of organic shapes, clustered around a geometric centre. The print has the feel of an automatic drawing; a glimpse into the subconscious mind of the contemporary Inuit artist.
