American Friends of the National Gallery of Canada
As a result of the close cultural and economic relationships between our country and the United States, millions of people residing south of the border have personal ties to Canada.
Since 2009, the American Friends of the National Gallery of Canada has been helping to reach art patrons in the U.S. as an affiliate of the NGC Foundation. That year, the group was launched on the occasion of the exciting exhibition, Beginning Yousuf Karsh at 100: Portraits of Artists, held at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC.
The American Friends of the NGC offers members the opportunity to stay connected to Canada’s cultural heritage and to learn more about it.
Patrons filing their income taxes in the United States can be issued a tax receipt by the American Friends of the National Gallery of Canada, which is recognized by Internal Revenue Services (U.S.A.).
