Volunteers Behind the Scenes

Some volunteers work under Gallery staff supervision in various Gallery departments, in the Library and Archives, and in the Bookstore stockroom. They also assist in special exhibitions and events.

How to join the Volunteers’ Circle

1. Become a Member of the Gallery. All volunteers are required to be Members of the Gallery. For a reasonable annual fee, payable at the Membership Desk in the Gallery Lobby, members are admitted to the Gallery and special exhibitions without charge, and receive a discount on parking fees and bookstore purchases.

2. Request a volunteer application form from the Volunteers’ Circle office, complete and return.  If you have special skills or experience, additional information in the form of a brief resume will enable the Volunteer Management team to suggest a program to best suit your interests.

3. The Volunteers’ Circle Office, at (613) 241-2787, will be pleased to provide application forms and answer any questions you may have, or use the contact us form.
