Mina Grossman-Ianni joins National Gallery for second term as member of Board of Trustees

The National Gallery of Canada is pleased to welcome Mina Grossman-Ianni of Windsor, for her second three-year term as a member of its Board of Trustees. Ms. Grossman-Ianni was first appointed to the Board in June 1998.

Mrs. Grossman-Ianni worked from 1977 to 1997 at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Windsor. She has been involved on the boards of many community organizations and is currently the Chairperson of the committee responsible for the Windsor Forum of the Arts of the Ontario Arts Council and is Director of Development at the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.

On 1 October, the Board of Trustees will be in Windsor for meetings held each Fall at various locations outside Ottawa. While in Windsor, Board members will visit artist-run centres and artist studios and will tour the new facilities of the Art Gallery of Windsor with director Glenn Cumming.

Appointments to the Board of Trustees of the National Gallery of Canada are made by the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
