14.7 x 24 cm

Theme:

Dalhousie was always accompanied by an officer/artist, during the inspection tours of the territory he governed. Woolford made this painting of Detroit during such a tour. The entourage stopped at Sandwich on Lake Erie, a site that afforded an unimpeded view of the town.
