Fred Sandback
Fred Sandback graduated with a degree in philosophy from Yale College in 1966 and with a Master of Fine Arts from Yale University’s School of Art and Architecture in 1969. He was strongly influenced by some of the visiting artists at the school, including Donald Judd and Robert Morris. His early works consisted of welded and assembled steel sculptures.
