Summary
This lesson explores how artists use and manipulate perspective to create their compositions.
Theory:
Students will investigate the conventional methods of representation, and how they can be altered to create different effects.
Creation:
Students will produce two-dimensional works of art that distort naturalistic depictions of objects.
Analysis:
Students will understand how artists can adapt the relationship between the normal rules of perspective and how these can be modified to express new ideas.

This lesson plan also explores the subject areas of Canadian and world history, history and geography, mathematics, science and technology.
Duration:
Two 40-minute periods
