My Scene:
After exploring works by the Group of Seven, students will use the elements of design to study a nearby landscape, sketch and paint it.
Grade 4-6
To Canada with love:
After exploring works by the Group of Seven, students will produce a two dimensional work of art which uses expressive qualities of colour and shapes.
Grade 7-8
September Gale T-shirts:
After exploring works by the Group of Seven, students will employ similar principles and elements of design to design a landscape composition and apply it to a T-shirt.
Grade 9-12
In the Footsteps of the Group of Seven:
After exploring works by the Group of Seven, students will work in groups together to create a mural composition based on their personal understanding of Canadian identity.
