Artistic Underground will be hosted by the energetic and engaging, sassy and smart, Jennifer Hollett, a broadcaster who isn’t afraid to turn up the volume.
Jenn is best known for her time at MuchMusic as a VJ and Videographer. While at Much, Jenn hosted a variety of shows: MuchOnDemand, The MuchMusic Video Awards, Live@Much, MuchNews, and So 90s. She has interviewed many big names including Coldplay, Avril Lavigne, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, and Sum 41. Jenn also interviewed Canadian Prime Ministers Stephen Harper and Paul Martin, each one-on-one, when she was MuchMusic's political correspondent for the 2004 federal election. In 2002, Jenn traveled to war-torn Kabul to host the award winning A MuchMusic Special: Afghanistan. In 2005, Jenn reported from Live 8 in London, and traveled to Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia to cover the tsunami for MuchNews and The New Music.
Raising social consciousness is important to Jenn and she has reported on numerous issues from youth violence to the war in Iraq, bringing awareness to MuchMusic's influential teen audience. Jenn has produced a variety of shows for the network including Much Celebrates Aboriginal Day and the behind the scenes look at the music biz - Reality Check. She also co-hosted the national MuchMusic Top 30 Radio Countdown.

Amanda Putz is a proud Saskatchewanian who relocated to Ontario six years ago. After doing her time in the trenches of television in Toronto, she followed a bureaucrat to Ottawa and nestled into radio.
She found her "radio-legs" on Bandwidth, Ontario's Saturday afternoon music show. In the midst ofher first season she helped conceive and produce Fuse in 2005, also taking the reins as host. The first season of Fuse paired artists like Ron Sexsmith & Sam Roberts, Kathleen Edwards & Feist, and Randy & Tal Bachman.
Amanda has filled in for Sook-Yin Lee on Definitely Not the Opera, Grant Lawrence and Craig Norris on CBC Radio 3, and hosted a multitude of live events throughout Ottawa, including The Saskatchewan Centennial Celebrations in the Capital.
She returns to CBC Ottawa after a year in Hong Kong. During that time she hosted and produced an international indie music show and spent weekends reading the news for Radio-Television Hong Kong on English radio.
Amanda returned to her role as the host of Fuse in the fall of 2007, and continues to be a fan of and contributor to CBC Radio 3.

Canadian Floormasters
The Canadian Floor Masters are Canada’s oldest Bboy Crew celebrating 23 years of history. Bboying is the proper term for what the media has called Breakdancing. They have performed well over 100 shows and have opened for performers as James Brown, Rapper IceT , Grandmaster Flash and The Blackeyed Peas.

Lainie Towell is The Sufi Girl. She is captivated with Guinean Ballet and has traveled to Guneé Conakry to study dance on several occasions.

Capoeira group
Although the origins of Capoeira are still shrouded in mystery, it is well established that Capoeira is a cultural manifestation of the experience of enslaved peoples and their descendents in colonial Brazil.
Capital Poetry Collective
The Capital Poetry Collective was established in Ottawa in 2004, and has since produced a monthly poetry slam, other spoken word events, and three full-length CD compilations showing off the diversity of Ottawa's spoken word scene. The CPC has been represented by performers in Vancouver, Halifax and Toronto at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word, and various venues in the NCR and its hinterland. It includes veterans of the CBC poetry face-off, internationally-touring poets, and exuberant up-and-comers. Audiences from ten to two hundred have been touched by their solidarity, mutual inspiration, and diversity.
